Concrete can crack because of shrinkage, settlement, movement, loading, corrosion or water exposure. Some cracks are stable and suitable for a rigid repair; others may still move and require a flexible treatment or additional investigation. The first step is understanding what the crack is doing and what the repair needs to accomplish.
